Christmas Decorations :)

by - November 23, 2013

I think we can establish that most of what I post from now until the new year, will likely be about Christmas. That's just something we'll all have to deal with.

I've been getting into the Christmas spirit a lot this week. My housemates and I put up our little Christmas tree, and I've just been to the store and have picked up a few things for extra holiday decoration!

There are so many little things you can add to your room or house that are simple but add just enough Christmas spirit and pizaz to make you feel happy. Plus they are super easy to get a hold of or make!

Bath & Body Works candles in Snowed In and Spice

First things first, get some winter or holiday themed candles burning. They just make everything so much better plus they smell divine. Mine are of course from Bath & Body Works. ( I have an obsession. It's unhealthy).

The candy cane kisses are FINALLY back for sale. These are my all time favourite candy and I always stock up at Christmas time. I bought two packages to put in this little DIY jar I made last week.

I got all the stuff to make the holiday jar at the dollar store for like $3. With the chocolates inside, it looks super cute, and people will get a little treat every time they come into my room! (If I can manage to be a good person and share).

Sugar Cookie soap from Shoppers Drugmart

I'm always a fan of smelly soaps, so of course I had to pick up a Christmas themed one for our kitchen. It smells so yummy, plus it was only $1.99 and you know how hard it is for me to pass up a good sale.

Hong Kong Diva by Ceramic Glaze, Catty by Revlon and Glittering Garland by China Glaze

I always display my holiday nail polish colours around this time instead of just keeping them in my polish box. These three are the most "Christmasy" ones I own, and I love them all! I will usually put them on my night stand or my desk and they just add a little something extra!

I just love the way my room looks now, but it's getting me way too excited to Christmas. School needs to hurry up and finish so that I can go home and be with my family, and bake cookies, and decorate my tree and just do all the holiday things.
