Christmas Day 2013

by - Friday, December 27, 2013

Christmas has come and gone so quickly that I've hardly had any time to sit down and even think twice about it, let alone blog about it.
I hope you all had the most wonderful Christmas if you celebrate it, and that Santa brought you all the things you wanted. He certainly treated me well (mum and dad did too!) as I got so much more than I was expecting.
I think I'm going to film a What I Got For Christmas 2013 video on my YouTube channel, since they are probably some of my favourite videos to watch, but for now I thought I'd show you a few of the things that I got and just reminisce about the day.

If you follow me on Instagram or if you've been reading my blog you know that I got the Canon Rebel T3i, which I am so excited about. It's really going to be a worthwhile investment when it comes to my blog and my channel and I'm so thankful and grateful to my parents for agreeing to go halfsies on it with me. And thanks to my good friend Andrea I've decided to name him Sir Arthur Canon Dolye (which is just genious, thanks Annie), or Arthur for short. The rest of my day was basically just spent reading about my camera and playing around with the settings, taking random pictures of nothing at all. It's going to take a bit of time for Arthur and I to get properly acquainted but I see a bright future for the two of us.

How cute is my puppy cuddling his new toy that he got for Christmas? Makes me want to cry it's so adorable! I love playing around with Arthur and taking pictures that I wouldn't be able to take with a simple point and shoot. I thought this one with th ornament was pretty cool if I do say so myself.

Other than my amazing camera I got a few more things that I adore as well. My mother had obviously been reading my blog because she and my dad got me the John Green box set, which is just to good to handle. I'm going to try and read as many of the books that came with it before I go back to school, so I'm starting with Looking for Alaska today! I also got two amazing Alex and Ani bracelets. I had never heard of these until this year after rewatching Christmas haul videos and seeing a few youtubers I watch get them. Needless to say they are now my new favorite accessory and I will definately be looking to add to my collection!

All in all my Christmas was wonderful, just spending time with my family, and eating great food. It was a day filled with laughter and candy and later on 5 cases of turkey-itis.
I'll let you know when my video goes up so you can see some of the other things I got for Christmas if that interests you at all!
And don't forget to let me know what you all got for Christmas down below, because the nosy lady in me wants to know.  :)
