Current Obsessions: Music

by - April 02, 2014

I think I'm going to start a new little segment where I talk about some of my current obsessions. If you are an avid reader of this blog, then it will be pretty obvious to you that I become easily obsessed with things. It will also be obvious to you that I sometimes have a hard time sticking to new segments *see the whole wisdom wednesday phase of this blog*. Alas I thought it might be fun at the beginning of the week, or the month, who knows there is not going to be any real schedule to this, I thought that I'd just take the time to tell you guys about something or some things that I've been loving as of late.

We'll start this off with music, because who doesn't love music? Crazy people that's who. Lately I have been in a very "ballady" mood and have mostly been listening to songs that if listened to in the dark, alone, are likely to make you cry.. But they are also so beautiful and make my heart feel full of warmth and love even though I am wildly single and destined to be a cray dog lady (cats are not my thing).

Sam Smith- Stay With Me

First off, let's talk about how much I love Sam Smith. If you haven't heard of him, then you've clearly been living under a rock these past few months because this UK singer/songwriter is blowing up in the US. He was just recently on SNL and his performances were so beautiful. Honestly just listen to his stuff, Stay With Me has been on repeat for about 3 days. Non-stop. This is not a drill people, drop everything and listen to that smooth buttery voice and try not to love it. I dare you.

Chester See- You're Not The One

This freaking beautious human being is my future husband. There may be a 10 year age difference, and he may live thousands of miles away from me but that won't stop our love. Or at least it won't stop this fangirl from freaking out everytime he opens his mouth to sing. I feel like such a creep, but I swear I fall more and more "in love" with him, with every new song. Chester See is a YouTuber which I think is awesome. He makes amazing covers and original songs every week and ugh, he's just great. Even my mom thinks so, and that says a lot. Well kind of, okay not really. Truthfully all that it proves is that my mom isn't blind because I mean just look at that face.  Anyway just listen to his songs, they will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside I promise.

There are other people I've been listening to lately as well, but honestly Sam Smith and Chester See have been my my favorites no contest!
