Las Vegas, I Love You

by - March 23, 2015

That moment when I realized that it's now a month post Vegas, and I still haven't made this blog post.
Whoops. I mean we all know I can often be a sad excuse for a blogger, but this is just ridiculous.
So, here we are, I am finally going to get this out there because I'm still just as ridiculously excited about my trip as I was the day I got back.
After a wonderful, sunny and warm week long vacation in Las Vegas (that took place over a month ago) I am back home in the almost spring, but still pretty bitter Arctic cold weather and figured now was as good a time as any (can we tell that I had started to write this post ages ago?) to reminisce on my trip!
For those of you who don't follow the rest of my social media, my parents took me to Vegas for my 21st birthday, something we've been joking about doing for many years.
Let me just say I LOVE LAS VEGAS.
The bright lights, the sound of the slots, the free drinks, I loved it all. I mean any place where you can openly drink while walking down the street is fine by me! It was honestly just an amazingly exhilirating and sort of exhausting trip, but I could not have asked for a better way to spend my reading week. My parents truly spoiled me, and I love them so.
While you might think that going to Las Vegas for the first time with your parents might be a little lame, but I mean hey, I've got pretty hip parents. I also appreciated the fact that we saw most of the sights, and hit nearly all of the casinos, so the next time I go (hopefully with at least one other person my age) I'll likely get the mor "typical" Vegas experience!
