Healthy Snacks | naturebox Review

by - July 10, 2015

Well I finally did it, I signed up for my first monthly subscription box. Except this one is not a beauty box, it's a snack box! Which is perfect for me because I love food, and eating, and snacks, and I am obsessed with this box.
For those of you who have not been living under a rock, you've likely heard of naturebox before, essentially it is, like I said before, a monthly subscription box that is filled with delicious and healthy (hi, can it get better than that) snacks that you get to choose yourself! Direct from their website, here is a brief description that naturebox offers of what they do.

NatureBox delivers a world of carefully sourced and nutritionist-approved foods right to your door. Each snack contains wholesome ingredients - with no artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors. Snacking has never been so deliciously fun and naturally easy.

So here's how I'm feeling about this snack subscription.

The Price
I think the price is pretty fair, I mean I did cringe a little bit at the $19.95 per month plus shipping subscription fee, but then I stopped to think about how much money I realistically spend on snacks every month and $25 bucks for some yummy, and healthier (let's be real, it's not as healthy as eating an apple, but still better than eating a bag of chips so I'm down) snacks seemed worth it.

The Delivery
I'm not too sure about the cost of shipping in the States, but in Canada it cost me about $4.95 for shipping, which is pretty standard and reasonable. The website says that once shipped my box would arrive about 5-10 (business) days later, and I am happy to report that both my free trial, and first box arrived only 4 days after I ordered it! That's pretty freaking good to me.

The Taste
There are more than 100 different kinds of snacks that you can choose for you box, so obviously I can't make a general statement about the taste of all of them, but I can tell you about the ones that I picked! For my first box I chose the sourdough cheddar pretzels, the salted caramel pretzel pops, the asiago & cheddar cheese crisps, the sweet blueberry almonds and the big island pineapple. They are all delicious, some more than others, but still delicious! My favorites are definately the big island pineapple (if you choose this, be sure to take a big ol' whiff of the package when you first open it and I promise you will not regret it, SO YUMMY), and the asiago & cheddar crisps which are basically cheesy, crispy goodness in my mouth. Obsessed.

All in all I think that naturebox is a fantastic purchase, I had only planned on trying out the subscription for one month originally, but now that I have actually tried the snacks, I am totally going back for a second month!

While I can't offer you a coupon code, there are tons of youtubers who are currently doing brand deals with naturebox and if you use their codes I think you can get your first box for free! Maybe, don't hold me to it. Two that I can think of on the top of my head are the Shaytards and MarissaLace. I don't know of any Canadian coupon codes, but the free trial is a great way to try out this box so I would definately look into it!
