Autumnal Favorites

Happy fall y'all. As you may very well already know, fall or autumn as they call it here in the UK, is my absolute favorite season. And with the change in season comes a change in the type of products that I use in my every day life. So I thought, now that I am finally settled into my new home, I would take a moment to share with you guys some of my favorite things that I have been using (and loving!) so far this autumn.

To me, autumn usually means dark lips and matching nails, but this year I have made it a point to mix it up from my usual berry lip, and add in some reds, both deep and bright! I've even thrown on a nude every once in awhile.
And with the crisp weather, I find myself craving a nice long hot bath more than I usually would in summer. Which in turn gives me an excuse to hit up Lush and buy more bath bombs and bubble bars than one person really needs. But let's be honest, there is nothing nicer than popping a lush goodie in the bath, turning on some music (I am currently obsessing over Selena Gomez's new album, as well as listening to the Autumn Leaves playlist by Spotify on the daily), and taking an hour to yourself, to either relax, or if you're like me, think about how close it's getting to Christmas.

When I moved to the UK, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find any specialty tea shops, like David's Tea or Teavana, so I did what any sensible and practical person packing for a year abroad would do. I brought a bunch of autumnal teas with me. Because let's be honest here, who needs more than one sweater when you have six different kinds of loose leaf teas? The same logic applies with the candles that I packed. I'm choosing to ignore the fact that I packed poorly and instead focus on the delicious tea I drink every night, and the yummy smelling candle I burn that of course, makes it smell like there's a beautiful man in my room. (We all know how I feel about candles that smell like boys).

Speaking of things that smell yummy, this Dior perfume , which I have featured in a monthly favorites video in the past, is quite possibly one of my favorite scents of all time. It has previously been described as smelling like "sexy rootbeer" (I kid you not, those were the exact words), and I can't lie, I sort of agree. It's just one of those scents, that instantly makes me feel sexier than I actually am. Which is helpful when I am chasing after kids, wiping dried poop off of their elbows, hair a mess and no makeup on. In case you were curious, that is an actual accurate depiction of what my life is like now.
