Urban Outfitters Petal Multi-Use Oil | Forget Me Not

by - June 21, 2017

I have fallen in love with a perfume oil, and I don't care who knows it.
About a week ago, I stumbled across this multi-use oil while browsing the Urban Outfitters website on my lunch break. I've always been slightly intrigued by beauty oils, whether they were for skin, or for hair, and I've been meaning to pick one up and try it out. The only issue is that there are so many out there which is overwhelming, and truth be told I find that a lot of them have a bit of an odd scent. Enter this beautiful oil, which comes in three different scents, all of which smell absolutely amazing. I quickly read the reviews, and as per usual did a bit of an impulse purchase. On my way home from work I stopped in at the Urban Outfitters closest to me (you guys it's very dangerous living a 5 minute walk from a mall), and picked one up. While they all smell lovely, I ended up going with Forget Me Not, which is an uplifting blend of sparkling mandarin + green tea that blossoms on skin with delicate notes of freesia and orris . They also have Globe which smells of peonies and black currants, with a hint of musk, and Rose which you guessed it smells of roses, but in the least grandmother way possible.

As this is a multi-use oil, it can be used however you see fit. I've been experimenting with it in my hair, to soften my cuticles when I am doing my nails, and after the shower to moisturize my skin. I have even read that you could put a few drops in with your bath water, which I am extremely excited to try out. The oil, and the scent settles so nicely on your skin, leaving a faint aroma that lasts all day. And as if that weren't enough to sell you on this product, let's just for a moment talk about how absolutely stunning the packaging is, shall we? I genuinely feel like such a grown up with this on my vanity. The glass bottle, and glass dropper seem very sophisticated, and the fact that you can see the flowers floating around the bottle gets me a little giddy every time I look at it. (Yes, it really doesn't take much to excite me).

I believe that these oils are exclusive to Urban Outfitters, and they are not as expensive as you would think. This bottle holds just under 120 ml of product, and costs $34 CAD. A pretty good deal if  you ask me, considering the last perfume I bought cost me well over $60 and I can't use that in my hair or as a moisturizer! I definitely recommend these oils to anyone who like me was intrigued by the thought of a beauty oil. I do not think you will regret it!

Much Love,
Spenser xx
